Map the brief to a material trial.
PLA can be a useful visual prototype starting point, PETG a practical toughness candidate, and TPU or TPE options a route for flexible parts. Confirm the exact grade and test conditions before production.
Keep evidence attached to the decision.
Save the sample, profile, technical document and approval note together. This makes a reorder or a change request easier to verify.
