A certificate is evidence for the product, grade, sample and test scope named in the document. It is not automatically a claim about every colour or spool.
Read the report identity first.
Check the issuer, report number, sample description, test date and conclusion. Keep the original PDF linked to the page where the claim is made.
Match scope to the SKU.
REACH, RoHS, EN 71-3, food-contact and VOC documents can have different scopes. Confirm which grade or sample each report covers before using it in a buyer specification.
Ask for the missing link.
- Exact grade and colour
